Jacques Fabre becomes 3rd family director general of Pierre Fabre

Policy differences with previous non-family dg

Jacques Fabre, nephew of Pierre Fabre, founder and president of the Fabre pharma and dermatological cosmetics group, has been named as director general in succession to Olivier Bohuon who left the group five months after his initial appointment. Jacques Fabre has also been confirmed as director general of Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmetique, the skin cosmetics arm but whose presidency remains in the control of Pierre Fabre. He becomes the third director general of the family group after the two appointments from the pharma sector – those of M Bohuon and Jean-Pierre Garnier – foundered after policy differences. Jacques Fabre, now 58, has made his career entirely within the Fabre group.
