French pharma and dermatological brand Pierre Fabre has been awarded a level of Excellence by Ecocert after the certification body assessed the brand’s CSR approach according to the ISO 26000 standard.
Ecocert awarded Pierre Fabre a score of 77% for its work so far on sustianability and well as its targets for short and medium term.
The brand has pledged that 100% of its products will be eco-designed by the end of this year, with 80% of new plant extracts sourced from pesticide free and organic plants by 2021.
Furthermore, it has promised to cut CO2 emissions by 30% and reduce energy consumption by 25% by 2025.
