Brand brings multi-toned products to the UK with new e-commerce site
Iman Cosmetics has launched a new e-commerce site in the UK. Designed for African American, Asian, Latina and other skin tones, the brand produces cosmetics in a wide range of shades with different undertones.
The iman-cosmetics.co.uk website features the “Meet Your Match” page to help consumers find their perfect foundation shade. Users can also find Iman Cosmetics shades that match their existing one from another brand.
Iman Cosmetics shades are grouped into three ranges: “Sand” for olive skin, “Clay” for dark olive to light brown skin and “Earth” for medium to ebony brown skin.
The full Iman range is available through the new site including skin care, lipsticks, BB Crème and foundations. Video tutorials, beauty inspiration and tips from professional make-up artists are also available on the site.
Iman Cosmetics launched in 1994, bringing difficult-to-find shades to the market. The brand was founded by Ethiopian model Iman Bowie, who is now the company’s CEO. The range is already available through a selected number of retailers in the region. In the US the brand is available online and through retailers including Walmart.
