IOI Oleo introduces coconut-based MCT

IOI Oleo has developed a 100% coconut-based MCT (INCI: Caprylic/capric triglyceride).

Reacting to increased demand for non-palm-based raw materials, IOI Oleo now offers the following coconut-based grades within its Witarix MCT range: Witarix MCT, Witarix MCT Organic (82.3% certified organic) and Witarix MCT Pure Organic (100% certified organic).

IOI Oleo GmbH is one of Europe's leading suppliers of oleochemical specialties.

The German company manufactures customised products at two production sites in Witten and Wittenberge and markets them worldwide, mainly to the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

IOI Oleo's two modern production facilities in Germany has a combined capacity of more than 20,000 metric tons of specialty ingredients. They are among the leading suppliers of emollients, emulsifiers, multi-functional ingredients and other specialties, all natural-based.

IOI Oleo is among the first to use the RSPO MB certification and a large number of their products are ECOCERT approved for use in natural cosmetics.
