The space is designed to be a ‘welcoming haven’ for customers to have hair services and shop a curation of Reed’s favourite brands

Celebrity hairdresser and co-founder of hair care brand Percy & Reed, Adam Reed, has opened a new hair salon and beauty store in London’s east end, UK.

The shop-come-hair salon is designed to be a hub for customers to be “as peaceful or productive as they like”.

Inside, clients can receive hair treatments and shop Reed’s curation of beauty, grooming and lifestyle products.

The line-up includes products from Diptyque, Saint Fragrances and Lisa Eldridge lipsticks.

“I want the space to offer beautiful comfort and an element of curiosity,” said Reed.

“A place that is fun, but envelopes you and makes you feel at ease and at home.”

In addition, the space will host a ghd Style Bar offering lessons from tonging to hair polishing.

“I have tried to take all of the things that I love, from service, to product, to design and incorporate them all into one big happy place that gives you great hair and a big smile on your face,” he added.

The store’s interior places an emphasis on reclaimed furniture and takes inspiration from vintage shops.

Meanwhile, Reed has selected a collection of his favorite artists’ work to be displayed.

This is Reed’s first solo venture since leaving his eponymous hair care brand last year.

He founded the brand with fellow London hairdresser Paul Percival more than ten years ago.

Today, the brand operates in more than 20 countries and runs a salon in central London.
