Described as ‘guilt-free’, the bottles – which are made from 100% recycled (PCR) and infinitely recyclable aluminium – can be refilled from pouches which reduce the customer’s plastic footprint by 63% compared to using Molton Brown’s standard bottles.*
Three iconic fragrances are available: Fiery Pink Pepper, Re-charge Black Pepper and Coastal Cypress and Sea Fennel all in 400ml bottles, with the classic Molton Brown branding off-set printed in black on natural silver brushed aluminium.
Commenting on the collaboration Beatrice Descorps, Global VP of Marketing, Molton Brown says: “When it came to developing a luxury refillable solution for our Bath and Shower Gels, we wanted to do the right thing – not the thing that simply looks right.
“After using Life Cycle Analysis tools to compare the environmental impact of various packaging formats, we discovered that aluminium is only truly sustainable if it has a high content of recycled material. This is why our new Infinite Bottle for Bath and Shower Gel is made from 100% recycled aluminium which reduces energy use by 95% and CO2 emissions by 83% compared to virgin aluminium.
Our Sourcing team worked closely with Vetroplas and Envases on this project. As EcoVadis-accredited suppliers, we could wholeheartedly trust them to create a sustainable, high quality and specialised packaging solution that propelled our refillable beauty journey even further.”
*Standard bottles refers to a total of 1 x 300ml and 1 x 100ml plastic bottles.
