On February 4, 2021 we will continue to host our educating webinar sessions starting with 'From ‘anti-itch’ to ‘skin friendly’ - Background and claim support approaches for selected cosmetic claims'.
Marianne Brandt, COO of proDERM, will present a selection of cosmetic claims with corresponding background information and testing approaches.
Among others, we will discuss tests for products with skin-soothing properties and methods to prove the claims ‘skin-friendly’ and ‘anti-itch’. For each approach, we will present the available equipment and how it works.
Among others, the following claims will be discussed:
- Skin-friendly
- Anti-itch
- Soothing
- Refreshing
- Cooling
- Bloodflow increasing.
The webinar will take approximately 60 minutes and will end with a Q&A session.

It includes one webinar related to the investigation of wound and skin protection products and one online panel discussion which we will dedicate to the topic of cosmetic claim support with its opportunities and regulatory dimensions.
