The US beauty company has suffered from low celebrity fragrance sales
Elizabeth Arden is set to announce new quarterly earnings shortly, however analyst predictions are not looking as positive as the company might hope. The owner of a glut of celebrity fragrance brands including Elizabeth Taylor, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston, to name but a few, analysts have suggested that the numbers will be subdued for the New York-based company, as demand for celebrity scents continues to wane.
Currently analysts are anticipating earnings in the region of $0.65 a share, although the real number could diverge significantly from that: sales of close to $190m were expected last quarter on Wall Street, however, in the end Arden delivered $175.4m – a 7.5% drop....
