Mr Nick Pickthall has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer of CPL Aromas effective from January 12th 2015.
The role of COO is a new position within the company and reflects the growing size and stature of the business. CPL Aromas has recorded significant growth in recent years and the company now operates a multifaceted business, this role will provide oversight to key areas of the organisation.
Nick has worked at CPL Aromas for 16 years and has gained valuable experience of the business in several key management positions in the UK, USA and most recently in South America where he held the title of Managing Director CPL Aromas Latin America.
Predominantly operating from CPL’s UK sites Nick will assume responsibility for key areas of the groups’ global operations including key customer partnerships helping to strengthen the company’s relationship with a number of CPL’s major global clients.
The role will also include board responsibility for group IT including managing relationships with the companies key IT partners across the world and exploring ways in which new and existing systems can improve customer service and help to make the business more efficient. Nick will also be the company’s board representative for the fragrance industry trade organisations such as IFRA and RIFM.
In addition to these new roles Nick will continue to have overall responsibility for the companies operation in Latin America and will retain board responsibility for global purchasing.
Nick will be relocating to the UK in June 2015 from South America and will be based at the company’s group headquarters.
