Interviews are expected to take place: online, Thursday 20 May 2021
The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity which works across the spectrum of human health, the environment and animal welfare. That’s because we cannot tackle these issues in isolation.
We campaign for change, we support farming innovation, we serve healthy food in communities, we support and grow the organic market and we protect forests. We couldn't do any of this without our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world where it’s needed the most.
We are seeking a highly motivated person to work on the processor team. This role will be focusing on the Health, Beauty and Cosmetics sector and will see you working with a wide variety of start-ups, leading brands and manufacturing businesses.
The role main focus is on managing the organic certification of our clients to the COSMOS and Soil Association’s own Health & Beauty schemes, reviewing inspection outcomes, raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials and labelling.
It’s an exciting time to join the team as we are seeing continued growth for certified organic and natural beauty, as consumers are looking to purchase products that work to support the environment and are making sustainable choices.
This role is located in our Bristol office; there will be occasional travel expected to conduct account visits, accompany inspections and attend events.
This role would suit someone with experience in product development, quality or technical role within the cosmetics industry, ideally with a degree or experience in Chemistry.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills are required, and a strong customer service mindset to be able to answer any general queries. The ability to provide solutions within tight deadlines is essential as well as the ability to prioritise your workload.
Interviews are expected to take place: online, Thursday 20 May 2021.
