The CEW Awards celebrated its 25th anniversary last week with a special ‘Classic FM Beauty Hall of Fame’ awards category, which included a £50,000 Classic FM digital advertising prize.
Aromatherapy Associates scooped five of the 29 awards, including the coveted Classic FM Beauty Hall of Fame award and prize with its hero product – Deep Relax Bath & Shower Oil. Other nominees in this category included cult-classics Chanel No 5 and YSL Touche Éclat.
Aromatherapy Associates' male grooming brand – The Refinery also bagged an award for its Refinery Shampoo.
Charlotte Tilbury’s brand, which stole the show in 2016 went home with three awards this year: Best New Women’s Fragrance Prestige with Scent of a Dream, Best New Make-Up Product For Eyes Prestige with Legendary Lashes and Best New Make-up Product For Lips Prestige with Hot Lips.
The winners, which are voted for by CEW’s members, were revealed at the London Hilton on Park Lane with over 400 members in attendance.
CEW UK President Caroline Neville said after the awards ceremony: “I always love seeing both small and established brands vying for the CEW Beauty Awards.”
