Bobbi Brown returns to cosmetics arena with Jones Road brand launch

The beauty guru has returned to running a make-up business after a four year hiatus, when she stepped away from her namesake brand

Bobbi Brown has returned to the cosmetics arena with a new brand of colour cosmetics, Jones Road.

Designed to suit all ages, skin types and skin tones, the range is said to comprise ‘clean’, high-grade formulations for women to achieve a ‘no make-up make-up’ look.

The products are said to boast a combination of natural ingredients and synthetics.

Jones Road’s hero product is the new four-shade light-reflecting Miracle Balm.

This make-up and skin care duo blends argan oil and vitamin E to offer a burst of nourishment and boost skin, and can be applied to the cheekbones, forehead and everything in between.

The Mascara stars an ‘ultra’ black formula that lengthens and volumises lashes without flaking, clumping or smearing.

For lips, the brand has introduced a five-shade softening gloss that is said to ‘melt’ onto lips to plump, while peppermint gives a fresh feel.

The Just A Sec eyeshadow is said to be a hybrid formula that is crease-proof and buildable, while The Best Pencil highly-pigmented pencil can be blended for smokey eyes or be used for crisp lines.

Completing the line is Jones Road’s The Best Eyeshadow powder eyeshadow, which is said to have staying power.

Customers can also shop a selection of the brand’s Start-Up Kit with a selection of the brand’s essentials.

This is the beauty guru’s first foray into the cosmetics market since stepping away from her namesake brand.

Brown founded her brand in 1991; after selling to Estée Lauder Companies just four years later, she stayed with the group for the next 22 years developing products and helming the business.

Since her departure she has also launched Evolution 18, a line of beauty and wellness ingestibles to complement her certification as a health coach.
