An International Group led by Pierre Hemar, ILEOS produces and creates packaging solutions in plastic, metal and board for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets.
For 50 years, the group has developed a global know-how based on innovation and own industrial sites.
Retained since late 2011 by Oaktree Capital; the group, with a strengthened management team and a focus on innovation, has since experienced strong performance through organic growth and acquisitions.
2012 saw the acquisition of Le Papillon, the American leader of sampling and filling for perfume and cosmetics. That same year, ILEOS became sole owner of Mappel, its Brazilian subsidiary, confirming its leading position.
In 2013, ILEOS continues to invest, with the strengthening of capacity in surface treatments in France, and will see the construction of a new factory in Spain dedicated to metal stamping and anodizing.
A global know-how
ILEOS Group, which generates $ 550 million, is composed of three divisions:
• Axilone, world leader in lipsticks, also produces plastic components and metal closure solutions, jars, collars... Axilone represents 1/3 of the group’s sales.
• Bioplan specializes in sampling and unit doses for the beautycare, fragrance and make-up markets. Mini sprays, sachets, stickpacks, thermoforms... A large range of products, reinforced with the formulation and filling know-how of Mappel, Brazil. Bioplan represents one third of group sales.
• Ileos Graphic, which includes Alliora and Packetis, specializes in cardboard packaging. Alliora designs and manufactures cases and boxes for the fragrance, cosmetics and wine and spirits markets. Packetis provides cardboard cases, leaflets and adhesive labels, mainly for the pharmaceutical and health care market. Ileos Graphic represents one third of the group sales.

Based in Paris, the Group has sales offices and factories in Europe (France, Spain, Poland) in China, the U.S. and Brazil. A global presence that allows him to be closer to the production and decisions centers of its customers and to provide global solutions to global clients.
