The Lubrizol Corporation’s Noveon Consumer Specialties has released a new polymer claimed to provide breakthrough hair styling performance without compromising gel rheology or aesthetics.

Fixate Freestyle allows strength to be tailored from light to ultra-high stiffness and is suitable for use in hair gels, styling waxes, putties and glues. Its maker says the ingredient also boasts exceptional humidity resistance, excellent pick-up, air bubble suspension, high clarity and a smooth appearance.
