Net-A-Porter’s Managing Director Nicola Brandolese has reportedly departed his position after just a year in the role.
According to a source, who tipped off Retail Gazette, the former LVMH executive stepped away from the British beauty and fashion retailer at the end of November due to a streamlining of roles within the business.
Brandolese was charged with the day-to-day running of the retailer, driving its global expansion and overseeing its commercial strategy.
His appointment came during a hiring spree for the YNAP group, including the recruitment of Pete Marsden as the group’s Chief Technology Officer and Theirry Pichon as VP of Global Sales.
Days after Brandolese’s exit, the group's parent company YNAP appointed Geoffroy Lefebvre as its new CEO.
He steps into the role from YNAP’s parent company Richemont, where he is currently serving as the group’s Digital Distribution Director.
From 4 January he will replace incumbent CEO Federico Marchetti, who will remain in the position of Chairman.
“I am delighted to be handing the baton to Geoffroy Lefebvre as the CEO of Yoox Net-A-Porter Group,” said Marchetti.
“We have worked together over recent times and he fully masters our business model.”
