Momentive Performance Materials today introduced Silsoft Style silicone, an anionic film-forming emulsion of silica-crosslinked polydimethylsiloxane designed to help personal care companies create hair styling products offering enhanced performance.
Useable in a wide range of products, the ingredient is said to offer several sensory benefits, including low tack, quick dry and flexible hold, even in high humidity. The performance benefits comprise of enhanced manageability, improved curl memory and increased volume without frizzing.
