Molton Brown has expanded its Artists of Note campaign, as the brand continues to pivot towards being a fragrance-first business.

British shoe designer Ancuta Sarca is the latest artist to front the British company, which launched its new Bluebell & Wild Strawberry perfume on 19 February.

The floral-fruity fragrance combines a heart of bluebell with top notes of wild strawberry and sets this against a base of warm amber accord and soft driftwood.

The scent is said to evoke Senior Perfumer Véronique Nyberg's memory of walking through “untamed woodlands in spring”.

These fragrance qualities were then brought to life by Sarca, who created a heel inspired by the Bluebell & Strawberry scent.

Combining fragrance with physical art serves as a way of returning to the brand’s “fundamentals of championing creativity and artistry in all its forms”, Beatrice Descorps, Global Vice President of Brand and Marketing at Molton Brown, told Cosmetics Business.
