Mocon revamps WVTR line

Mocon Inc has launched Permatran-W Model 3/33 Plus, a new generation of its water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) units. According to Mocon, relative humidity (RH) can significantly impact the water vapour transmission rate of a material. Mocon’s units obtain precise RH by incorporating a modulated infrared probe within the test cell, while a high precision sensor provides parts per million sensitivity, meaning any deviation from the desired set point is automatically adjusted.

The updated Permatran-W model features a new software interface and comes in three different master base control system options with three satellite modules, each providing different test capabilities.
