Henry Rose, the ‘clean’ fragrance brand founded by actress Michelle Pfeiffer, has hired LVMH veteran Laure de Metz as its new CEO.
De Metz has more than two decades of experience in the prestige beauty sector, including ten years at LVMH working across brands including Benefit Cosmetics, Marc Jacobs and Bite Beauty.
She has also held positions at Estée Lauder Companies and YSL Parfums.
In her new role, she will lead Henry Rose through its next phase of growth including expanding into new markets and building awareness of the brand’s commitment to ingredient transparency in fine fragrance.
"Our vision is to bring ingredient transparency and safer products to fine fragrance consumers globally, and I look forward to building the future of beauty with Henry Rose." said de Metz.
Dangerous Minds actress Pfeiffer launched Henry Rose in 2019 with a line-up of five genderless fragrances.
The brand provides a full list of ingredients for each scent, in an effort to eliminate the secrecy that usually surrounds formulation, the 66-year-old said at the time.
Henry Rose is currently stocked at retailers Sephora, Nordstrom and Credo in the US as well as its own website, and also launched into Canada via Sephora earlier this year.
"Laure's extensive experience and innovative approach to brand growth make her an invaluable addition to the Henry Rose team," added Pfeiffer.
"Her leadership will be instrumental in our mission to continue shaping the future of beauty and further delighting our consumers."
