MBO for Racoon International

Hair extension brand Racoon's management team Eva Proudman and her husband Steve have bought out the company for an undisclosed sum. The management buy out was backed by venture capital company Matrix Private Equity.

Racoon International currently holds over 2,000 salons in the UK and the brand is sold in 16 countries, including Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the US.

“This is an exciting time for both Racoon and our clients. We are completely focused on continually building the Racoon brand and joining forces with Matrix provides fresh ideas and opportunities for us. It's important that our growth strategy includes both the hairdresser and the consumer, so we will be focusing very much on what our clients need,” commented managing director Eva Proudman.
