Leading brands Shiseido, MAC, Phyto and Filorga were named the world’s best beauty products at this year’s Marie Claire Prix d’Excellence de la Beauté Awards.
The magazine’s panel of global experts awarded Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation SPF 20, MAC Pro Beyond Twisted Lash, Phyto Phytodensia Range and Filgora Scrub & Mask Reoxygenating Exfoliating Mask the title of 2017’s world best beauty products.
Chanel was named the Special Jury Winner with awards for its Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo and Chanel La Solution 10 De Chanel.
Estée Lauder bagged the Research & Innovation award for its work over the past year in skin care innovation. The award specifically honoured the innovation surrounding Estee Lauder’s three products – Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules, Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask and Revitalizing Supreme + Global Anti-Aging Wake Up Balm.
A panel of UK experts voted for the British Jury Prizes. The panel included Marie Claire’s Acting Beauty and Style Director Sophie Qureshi, Beauty Editor of Fabled by Marie Claire Sam Dean, award-winning Health and Beauty Editor Edwina Ings-Chambers and beauty bloggers Pixiwoo and Caroline Hirons.
Aveda Damage Remedy Split End Repair won the award for hair care, St Tropez Gradual Tan Tinted Everyday Body Lotion was named the body care winner, Dior Capture Totale Dreamskin Cushion won best new make-up and Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart SPF50 Hydrating Shield was named best new skin care.
