LVMH revenue rises to €14.2bn in H1 2010

Perfumes and cosmetics revenue up 14%


Luxury group LVMH has announced revenue of €14.2bn in the first nine months of 2010, a 19% increase on the prior year period. According to the group, momentum continued to be strong in Asia, Europe and the US, while all business groups achieved double-digit growth.

Perfumes and cosmetics revenue grew 14% with Christian Dior benefiting from the successful roll-out of its lipstick and launches from Guerlain – which debuted a new skincare range – and Givenchy, which launched a feminine version of its Play fragrance.
