The latest cosmetic packaging designs and materials will be on display at Luxury Packaging, which is co-located with Packaging Innovations London, taking place at the Business Design Centre on 1 & 2 October 2013. Major names including DAPY Paris, GMUND, GF Smith, HH Deluxe Packaging, Macfarlane Packaging and MNC Stribbons have signed up for the show.
Luxury packaging and point of sale specialist DAPY Paris, which has worked with a number of cosmetic brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Estée Launder and Christian Dior, are exhibiting at the show for the first time. Marc Bruneau, Sales Manager at DAPY Paris, explains why his company has decided to exhibit:
“Packaging Innovations London was already a very interesting show, but the addition of the co-located Luxury Packaging show has taken it to a new level. It’s so relevant for our business and the perfect place for us to present our latest innovations and reach potential customers.”
Also exhibiting for the first time is market leader GMUND, which has been manufacturing paper since 1829. Today its fine papers are used by many of the world’s most prestigious brands, such as Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Campari, Trump International Golf Links Scotland, Cannes Film Festival and Godiva Chocolatier.
Simret Woldu, International Sales Manager at GMUND UK, adds: “London is at the heart of the design, brand and innovation community; it’s the place where many designers and buyers working for major luxury brands go when looking for new ideas and inspiration. So when we heard that there was a packaging event in London that attracts over 3,000 people, with a dedicated Luxury Packaging show co-located in the same venue, we just had to be there.
“Packaging Innovations London 2013 will give us a tremendous opportunity to showcase our work, and the extraordinary effects and finished look people can achieve with our products. We also plan to connect with many contacts within the packaging and print industries.”
Packaging Innovations London at the Business Design Centre is co-located with Luxury Packaging and the Brand & Design Village. There are a host of show features including the Luxury VIP Lounge and a host of inspirational learnShop seminars.
