Natural skin care champion Liz Earle has taken her first foray outside the sector with the launch of her first fragrance.


Natural skin care champion Liz Earle has taken her first foray outside the sector with the launch of her first fragrance.

Botanical Essence No.1 is the result of a three-year project and was created by French perfumer Jean Charles Niel in partnership with IFF’s Laboratoire Monique Remy in Grasse, France. The perfume laboratory is renowned for sourcing very high quality botanical ingredients and the new fragrance is said to contain a 98% natural ingredient blend.

Inspired by Earle’s Instant Boost Skin Tonic, the new fragrance opens with notes of bergamot, mandarin, bitter orange, lemon and cardamom, blending to a floral heart of rose absolute, lavender, geranium, coriander and nutmeg. Finally cedarwood, vetiver, tonka bean absolute and patchouli create the warm, woody dry down.

The edp is priced at £39.50.
