The Cosmetic Science area at London College of Fashion is well-established and renowned for its specialist educational offer, aimed to the global cosmetics industry.

Based on the success of its undergraduate provision, we now offer a unique Integrated MSc Cosmetic Science course, teaching a wide range of disciplines relevant to the cosmetics and related industries.

Currently, there is an opening for a lecturer in cosmetic science which is an important and dynamic role in this area. If you have the experience, knowledge and vision, join us and remain at the forefront of cosmetic science education.

A degree-level background in chemistry, biology or pharmaceutical science, product formulation experience and educational/training background would help you to meet requirements for this challenging but fulfilling role.

Your profile

In addition to your formulation experience, you will ideally possess solid theoretical knowledge in a range of cosmetic science related disciplines and/or postgraduate training in a related field.

Highly organised, with excellent planning and time management skills, you will work within the team of academics, technicians, administrators and hourly paid lecturers on this leading course in its subject field.

With appropriate support, you will be expected to identify and realise research opportunities in your field of expertise. You will also have an opportunity to build on our strong international links. With an awareness of the current educational climate, you will value the importance of innovation, and welcome change.
