Roll-on foundation wins L\'Oréal Paris top prize


L'Oréal Paris True Match Roller Perfecting Roll On Makeup was deemed the most innovative piece of beauty packaging by judges at this years International Package Design Award competition, held last night during the HBA Global Expo in New York.

The product, which also won the cosmetics mass category, was selected by a committee of 100 designers, suppliers, marketing companies and members of the trade media and features a mini-roller, designed to help the user apply the foundation smoothly and evenly.

The cosmetics prestige award was presented to Eye Steppes by Jane Iredale, while fragrance mass was taken by Hanae Mori Butterfly Solid Perfume Ring by International Cosmetics & Perfumes. The fragrance prestige category was won by Bella Una by Calm and Scents.

Signature Collection Men by Bath & Body Works topped personal care mass, while Hapuna Keratin Retexturizer Stylist Caddy by Paul Brown Hawaii was recognised in the personal care prestige category.

L'Oréal Paris also took top prize for skin care mass with its L'Oréal Paris Go 360° Clean. RE9 Advanced by Arbonne, meanwhile, won the prestige skin care category and Pure Shea Butter by Shea Butter Radiance scooped the green packaging award.
