Despite the recent controversy over L'Oréal's purchases of ethical and organic companies The Body Shop and Sanoflore, L'Oréal has proven its doubters wrong and come up trumps in Vigeo's social responsibility survey.


Despite the recent controversy over L'Oréal's purchases of ethical and organic companies The Body Shop and Sanoflore, L'Oréal has proven its doubters wrong and come up trumps in Vigeo's social responsibility survey.

Based on annual and sustainable development reports for 2005 and a questionnaire, Viageo's survey ranked L'Oréal equal first in the Luxury Goods and Cosmetics sector, in terms of corporate social responsibility and also pointed to the Group's commendable commitment to sustainable development policies.
