L'Oréal has announced the acquisition of US hair salon brand PureOlogy for an undisclosed sum through its USA subsidiary.
L'Oréal has announced the acquisition of US hair salon brand PureOlogy for an undisclosed sum through its USA subsidiary.
“With its very original approach, PureOlogy will allow our professional Products Division to strengthen even further its position in the top end hairdressing salons where the brand has strong potential,” commented Jean-Laurent Attal, president and ceo of L'Oréal USA.
PureOlogy raked in sales of $57m in the last twelve months and is one of the fastest growing hair care brands in the US.
“PureOlogy is very complimentary to our existing portfolio of strategic brands. It is an enormous success in the US and we are very excited about the business opportunities for developing it worldwide,” says Jean-Jacques Lebel, president of L'Oréal's Professional Products division worldwide.
