L’Oréal USA has acquired 100% of Columbia Beauty Supply, a supplier to hair salons in the Southeast of the US.

L’Oréal USA has acquired 100% of Columbia Beauty Supply, a supplier to hair salons in the Southeast of the US.

The new acquisition, following that of Beauty Alliance and Maly’s West in 2007, will operate within the Professional Products and is part of a wider effort to offer an improved service to US hair salons. Columbia Beauty Supply, which achieved sales of about $60 million in 2007, will be managed by Beauty Alliance due to the two organisations inhabiting a similar geographical area.
