Lancôme selected Topline Products to create L’Absolu Rouge for its fall make-up collection. The iconic lipstick remains as magnetic as ever.
Homage to Parisian chic
For this version of L’Absolu Rouge in ABS, Topline Products supplied two versions, one metalized shiny gold and the other black lacquered.
In addition to the brand’s emblematic rose, for each model the décor features voluptuous lips and an Eiffer Tower in black tampography for the gold model and hot-stamped shiny gold for the black version. The lipstick still features a discreet magnetic closure—no need to press or clip the top, the closure is gentle and automatic.
This gesture also has a purely practical advantage as it means no nasty surprises from a tube that doesn’t close properly.
The line comes in six elegant shades.
A cult product & a long-term partnership
A brand classic since 1990, in 2005 Rouge Absolu took on a glamorous design. That year, it was manufactured by Primapack, which today is Topline Products.
In 2008, the lipstick was re-named L’Absolu Rouge. Primapack, which was still Lancome’s supplier at the time, added a magnetic closure that is both novel and discreet.
This partnership is continues today with the latest version that comes out this autumn.
With its skincare-like formula and its palette of approximately 40 shades, L’Absolu Rouge is a cult product.
