KMI Brands, the beauty and fragrance licence holder for brands including Ted Baker and Orla Kiely, has appointed Rachel Parsonage as its new CEO.
Named one of the UK's 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders in 2019 by private equity company LDC, as Managing Director Parsonage is said to have been “instrumental” in shaping the growth of KMI Brands, strengthening the business by developing a set of core values and ethics focused on people and leadership, according to the brand owner.
She will lead the company as it works to expand its business and portfolio of beauty brands through licensing partnerships as well as developing own-brands such as its hair care brand Noughty.
Speaking about her new role, Parsonage said: “I’m honoured to be given the opportunity to lead KMI and it is a privilege that I take very seriously.
“It is an incredibly exciting time for KMI, with new international markets opening, new licenses and new product launches imminent across our wonderful portfolio of brands.
“I’m looking forward to the next decade alongside an exceptional team who really do make KMI the outstanding business it is today.”
Prior to joining KMI, Parsonage worked as Managing Director at body care brand This Works as well as running her own management consulting company Vita Management.
She takes over as CEO from Herbie Dayal, who will remain as the majority shareholder and assume a new position as Chairman at KMI Brands.
