The Kardashian-Jenner clan is no stranger to family beauty collaborations, and now Kim Kardashian West has revealed a debut KKW Fragrance partnership with her mother Kris Jenner.
The new KKW x KRIS fragrance (US$40), set to be released on 15 April, is said to be a ‘timeless’ perfume inspired by the women in their lives.
Top notes include freesia, tagete and aperol spritz accord; with a heart of white gardenia and tuberose; and a blend of cashmere woods and golden amber for the base.
Speaking about the launch, the mother of six said: “Creating a fragrance together with Kim just in time for Mother’s Day was magical.
“We’ve talked about doing this for years, so to see our shared vision come to life has been amazing.
“Kim and I have similar tastes, which makes working together a dream. We both wanted a classic, ageless scent that is beautiful and empowering for anyone who wears it, and I think this fragrance perfectly embodies that.”
Kardashian West added: “I’ve always wanted to work with my mum on a fragrance of our own, so the KKW x KRIS fragrance is so special to me.
“We chose really fresh, light florals complemented by creamy notes that are our personal favourites and it smells exactly like my mum.”
The 39-year-old said the fragrance’s packaging was inspired by the neutral tones in her home.
“The design of the bottle was inspired by the neutral colour palette inside my home, knowing it would look beautiful in any bathroom or vanity.”
Jenner has previously teamed up with youngest daughter and billionaire Kylie Jenner for a collection of colour cosmetics.
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, KKW Fragrance has pledged to donate 20% of profits from all sales via kkwfragrance.com from 15 April to 5 May to Blessings in a Backpack, a charity that provides food for poor school children across the US.
