Kidston does C&T

Published: 4-Jul-2006

Interior designer Cath Kidston has teamed up with cosmetics manufacturer Heathcote & Ivory to produce a range of toiletries to complement her growing lifestyle brand. The toiletries are available in three fragrances - Lemon & Geranium, Rose & Carnation and Lilac & Lavender - and each comprises talcum powder, drawer liners, guest soaps, bubble bath, hand cream and body lotion.

The packaging is based on vintage tins and bottles, inspired by antique medicine bottles and is decorated with a liberal dose of Kidston’s iconic floral prints. Pauline Drury, regional sales manager at Heathcote & Ivory, says that the range is expected to hit shelves in UK department stores such as Fenwick’s, Debenhams and John Lewis from September.

The guest soaps, which are individually wrapped and sold in a presentation case, are expected to rapidly become the best selling items in the range.
