Kerfoot invests in new seed oil plant

The Kerfoot Group has announced it is to invest in a new cold-pressing plant as part of the development of its specialist seed oil range.

The technology at the plant will enable the preservation of more of the natural nutrients in the seeds, which incude melon, cherry and plum fruit seed oils, as well as oils containing Omega 3 and 6, and camelina, hemp, borage and black seed. In addtion, the plant will be able to process essential oils.
