Kardashian sisters – Kim, Khloe and Kourtney – have won a breach of contract lawsuit against an investment firm over a failed beauty brand.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the courts awarded the trio US$10m in damages, the amount Hillair Capital-owned Haven Beauty claimed it initially spent 'saving' Kardashian Beauty.
The sisters were originally sued for $180m in 2016, after the reality television stars were accused of breaching their licensing contract by failing to promote their Kardashian Beauty brand adequately.
In response, the Kardashians also took legal action against Haven, saying the company sold the brand’s products without their consent or involvement.
They claimed that Hillair had not paid royalties for products branded in their name.
However, this week, the three judging panel ordered Hillair Capital to pay $7.4m and $3.2m in interest.
Haven Beauty became involved with the Kardashians when it spent approximately $10m to buy the sisters' beauty line from Boldface, which was struggling financially.
