Kanebo postpones legal plea

Denies rumours that it asked courts to dismiss consumer claims for damages in relation to the use of recalled skin whitening products


Kanebo has been quick to deny rumours circulating in the Japanese media that the company was asking the courts to dismiss consumer claims for damages in relation to the use of Kanebo skin whitening products that were recalled in July. Currently, the company is embroiled in a case where a consumer is seeking damages of ¥48m.
