Niche perfume brand Juliette Has a Gun has unveiled a new fragrance inspired by the classic cocktail Moscow Mule.
The fragrance (£110 for 100ml) contains top notes of ginger, lime and bergamot essence; heart notes of apple and sandalwood essence, extreme amber and iso E super; and base notes of ambroxan, ambretolide and norlimbanol.
The bottle features a copper tone cap reminiscent of the mugs that the cocktails are typically served in.
Founder Romano Ricci said: “I had in my mind the idea of a fragrance that evoked the vibrations and euphoria of the famous Moscow Mule cocktail. A fresh and exhilarating composition that associates ginger with copper.
“These two elements inspired me for both the container and the formula: ginger for the model featured in the campaign and her mysterious red hair colour. Copper because the cocktail is traditionally served in copper mugs.”
Ricci worked with photographer Alexander Straulino to help illustrate the fragrance through collage.
