John Frieda has teamed up with upcoming DC superhero blockbuster Wonder Woman 1984 as its official UK hair care partner, helping consumers achieve superpowered style.
Set to hit cinema screens this December, the film will see Gal Gadot reprise her role as the titular iconic heroine, starring alongside Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal in a new 1980s-set adventure.
To celebrate the partnership, the Kao-owned brand has released a limited edition John Frieda X Wonder Woman 1984 Secret Agent Touch-Up Crème, formulated to help users combat frizz and flyaways for a silky smooth finish.
Part of the brand's best selling Frizz Ease range, the smoothing crème works to seal in moisture to combat puffy and parched hair, eliminating flyaways, static and split ends.
Infused with avocado oil, it features a “superpowered combination” of ingredients including glycerin and proplyene gycol, which absorb into hair fibres, as well as silicone ingredients to repel water and create a shielding film on the hair's surface, which helps to seal in hydration, eliminate frizz and form a protective barrier against future damage.
Users should apply to dry hair, rubbing a small amount of product onto palms and smoothing through hair, concentrating on ends.
Housed in holographic, limited edition packaging inspired by the movie's 1980s style, the John Frieda X Wonder Woman 1984 Secret Agent Touch-Up Crème (RRP £5.97) is available exclusively at Superdrug stores in the UK.
