Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has appointed Rachel Baker as the new VP and General Manager of Jo Malone London.
She will assume the role from 1 March 2023 and report directly to Sue Fox, ELC’s President of UK and Ireland.
Baker started her career with Clinique as a consultant, and has held senior positions at Tom Ford Beauty, Dr Jart+ and Lab Series.
“With her strategic ability and commercial acumen, Rachel has achieved a consistent track record in delivering profitable brand growth and operational excellence in all channels of distribution,” said Fox.
“Rachel’s passion and strength is the leadership of her teams, especially in people development and shaping future leaders for ELC.”

Baker succeeds previous VP and General Manager Melissa Mullen, who announced she was stepping down from the role to spend more time with her family.
Mullen joined ELC in 2019 and has over 20 years’ experience across retail including the Aurora Fashion Group, Marks & Spencer and most recently Nike.
“In her time at Jo Malone London, Melissa has been a passionate supporter of Jo Malone London’s social investments, serving on the board of NSPCC, overseeing the brand’s partnership with Black Minds Matter and acting as the brand voice for the Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability governance,” added Fox.
