Interparfums’ stellar sales results for Q3 2026 has caused stock prices in the French fragrance company to surge.
The maker behind fragrances for luxury brands Jimmy Choo, Lacoste, Coach and Guess reported sales of €265.5m within the three months ending September 2026 – a 4.8% rise in reported terms compared to the same period last year.
As a result, Interparfums reported its expectations for full-year sales to reach the top end of its guidance (€870m), which caused its stock prices to soar to a high of 117.5 USD on 20 October.
Interparfums attributes its strong results for Q3 2026 to the growth of major brands, including Coach and Montblanc.
Coach’s fragrance sales reached €175m, up 10% from the start of the year, following the success of two new extensions launched in Q1.
Meanwhile Montblanc resumed its growth trajectory thanks to the success of two new lines. Montblanc Legend Elixir and Montblanc Explorer Infinite.
Additionally, a strong performance in China saw Asia return to solid growth for the company after a mixed start to the year, with a record growth of almost 32% in Q3.
Conflict in the Middle East and Eastern Europe continues to have effect, with operational difficulties in Eastern Europe impacting the activity of Lacoste and Lanvin.
Philippe Benacin, Interparfums Chairman and CEO, said: “Our activity regained more favourable momentum over the summer, allowing us to target the top of our sales guidance of around €870m for 2026 as a whole.
“We nevertheless remain prudent for the fourth quarter, in view of an international context that continues to be complicated, not least in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
“We should not forget the strong seasonality of the American market, structurally focused towards the months of November and December.
“In the end, the very favourable reception from our partners to the 2027 launch plan reinforces our confidence in the group’s growth prospects, which will be outlined on 19 November.”
