The UK’s first podcast focusing solely on beauty has launched on iTunes with the aim of providing an entertaining audio option for cosmetics fans on the look-out for product recommendations.
The Beauty Talk Podcast was set up by Beccy Lee, a skin care PR Manager; Jemma Lamble, Deputy Editor of Diary Directory; and Lex Gillies, a freelance Social Media Manager and writer. All three beauty industry professionals have also run beauty blogs for at least six years.
Episodes will air weekly on Wednesday mornings to coincide with consumers’ morning commutes. So far, four episodes have been set live on iTunes, Soundcloud and Stitcher, and include: Desert Island Beauty, Cleansing 101, High Street Vs High End and All Things Hair.
The podcasts, which are conversational in tone and style, feature product recommendations to achieve desired results, alongside personal insights into Lee, Lamble and Gillies’ own beauty dilemmas and concerns.
