The Phoenix purchase enabled Sozio to accelerate UK market growth
The fresh name comes 18 months after the acquisition of Phoenix Fragrances by French fragrance company Sozio-Descollonge.
Sozio UK will continue to operate from its site in Wellingborough, UK, which encompasses R&D, production, sales & marketing and administration, and will focus on the local market.
Commenting at the time of the March 2021 acquisition, Frederic Braud, General Manager of Sozio, said: “Phoenix Fragrances’ integration fits in perfectly with our strategic plan and confirms our determination to accelerate our growth on the UK market.”
The Phoenix acquisition followed a February 2021 purchase of Brittany-based Sentessence by Sozio, which Braud said would strengthen its natural fragrance expertise in France.
