Do you have a proven track record with vendor relations and project management?
As an experienced Operations Manager ideally within the FMCG sector, you will be responsible for ensuring the management of vendor relationships and the project management of operational challenges.
You will nurture vendor relationships, ensuring that you manage visits, liabilities, cost changes and resolution of issues in a timely and professional manner. As a natural problem solver, you will be able to come up with innovative cost-saving initiatives whilst sourcing new vendors to increase the level of profitability for the business. You will also be in charge of the financial overview of operations projects, identifying price changes and conducting negotiations where necessary.
The ideal candidate will have managerial experience and a proven track record of improving processes to achieve operational results. You will have a strong background in cost-saving exercises which also includes product value engineering and re-sourcing of products to alternative vendors. Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment will come naturally to you as you streamline company processes and strategy.
