in-cosmetics teams up with IFSCC for 2009 Asia event

The in-cosmetics Group (Reed Exhibitions) is collaborating with the IFSCC for its in-cosmetics Asia 2009 event. The show will for the first time be held in Singapore (13-15 October 2009), the week after the IFSCC’s conference in Melbourne, Australia (7-9 October). Show organisers say they anticipate a “sizeable contingent of IFSCC delegates stopping over in Singapore” following the IFSCC event.

Show organisers say they anticipate a “sizeable contingent of IFSCC delegates stopping over in Singapore” following the IFSCC event.

"IFSCC delegates will be able to maximise their time in the region, combining scientific theory and face-to-face engagement with Asia's key industry players,” comments Richard Hesk, exhibition director of the in-cosmetics Group.

Gavin Greenoak, due to take over as president of the IFSCC at the Melbourne conference adds: "The IFSCC and in-cosmetics have been running highly successful and separate events for a long time. With the IFSCC's 50th anniversary in Melbourne and in-cosmetics Asia in Singapore back to back, we will be able to showcase how these mature organisations can now work well together."

In Europe in-cosmetics is to celebrate its 20th anniversary by holding the 2010 show in Paris (13-15 April, Porte de Versailles). Over the last 20 years Paris has consistently proved to be a hugely popular location.

When the show was first held in Birmingham, UK in 1990 it featured 60 exhibitors and attracted 900 visitors. These days there are more like 450 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors attending from all over the world.

in-cosmetics India 2008 will be held in Mumbai from 17-18 September
in-cosmetics Asia 2008 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 4-6 November
in-cosmetics 2009 will be held in Munich, Germany from 21-23 April
