How closely did you work with Disney on this launch?
It was essential that we worked very closely with Disney at every stage of the development process. In the case of the four character led fragrances, the team had to be fully immersed in the nuances of these characters to develop the individual fragrance formulations.
Equally, when it came to creating the packaging and marketing, it was essential for our design team not just to adhere to strict guidelines, but also to respect the heritage of the Star Wars brand.
Is there pressure to meet high fan expectations?
Star Wars is an emotionally charged franchise and there was significant anticipation around the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We have been mindful of this since the initial concept stage.
