New from Hosokawa Micron is the Turbulizer, a continuous mixer for general liquids into solids dispersion applications.

The Turbulizer can also be used to coat fine powders using a solid coating agent without the need for pre-melting. The high intensity mixing process combined with a heating jacket means that the coating agent melts during the process producing perfectly coated end material. The machine can be used for starch hydration. Turbulizers are available in sizes from 15kw to 300kw with diameters from 200mm to 1.2m, and typical throughput rates range from 80kg to 200 tonnes per hour.
