Ida is a recent master’s student in cosmetic science from the University of Sunderland, graduating with distinction. She has also completed an undergraduate degree in BSc. Industrial Chemistry from the University of Nairobi. Following industrial attachments in the food and paints industries in her home country, Kenya, Ida recently worked with a start-up tech company, Decoded Africa, as a service design associate.
At Here2Grow, she will provide technical support and assistance in the laboratory. Her key responsibilities will include research and development of personal care products on a project-by- project basis, formulating products to meet customers’ expectations, carrying out stability tests on developed products, COSHH regulations and the preparation of laboratory protocols and SOP’s.
