Luxury retailer Harrods has created another ‘world first’ with with the launch of a new Wellness Clinic.
The clinic is a 10,500sqft space dedicated to improving the wellness and beauty of shoppers.
Architect company Stanton Williams was hired by the store owned by the investment arm of Qatar's Sovereign wealth fund to design a ‘one-of-a-kind’ space using natural cherry timber and moleanos stone in the store's fourth floor.
Fourteen treatment rooms, two personal training studios, a private consultation room and a photography studio featuring a state-of-the-art Vectra 3D Scanner System are all part of the offering.
The clinic has exclusively partnered with personalised skin care service provider Gen Identity. Harrods says its treatments involve a medical consultation and a course of targeted skin care products.
Harrods will also host guest dermatologists, weekly visits from a chiropractic and posture specialis and offer six week diet programmes, cryotherapy chamber and non-invasive cosmetic procedures.
