GridKor, a mergers and acquisitions firm, has bought Perfect V Enterprises, the company behind intimate skin care brand The Perfect V.
A partnership between GridSwitch and KorDev, GridKor has plans to turn Perfect V Enterprises into an ‘eight figure company’.
The Perfect V was founded by Avonda Urben, who will remain on the board to help guide the business’ direction.
In launching the brand, Urben was inspired by Scandinavian women’s lifestyles, and how they feel comfortable and confident in their own skins.
All products are cruelty-free, ‘clean’, and dermatologist and gynecologist vetted, with no parabens, alcohol or sulfates.
They are developed to keep the pH balance in check and feature Nordic ingredients like Arctic cloudberry, lingonberry, elderflower, rosehips and bilberry.
The brand retails via its website, as well as through Revolve, Blue Mercury, Macy's, Amazon, Anthropologie, Current Body and other online retailers, in addition to spas and salons.
“We’re really excited to grow a brand that has such a high ceiling of potential. This brand strikes a creative chord for us and we’re very confident in our ability to turn this into an eight-figure company,” said Josh Clingensmith, Chief Marketing Officer at GridKor.
GridKor added that The Perfect V also opens the door to licensing opportunities for the brand’s V V Cream product and Vanicure service.
It said it plans to pitch these licensing opportunities to appropriate global health and beauty brands and lifestyle brands.
V V Cream is described as a BB cream for the intimate area, while Vanicure is a trademarked beauty service said to elevate hair removal services.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
