German manufacturer Gerresheimer is due to exhibit its glass bottles and jars for the Russian market at Intercharm Moscow from 21-24 October.
The company identified that this year’s trends include transparent glass bottles in different colours that have glitter effects and resemble gemstones. Meanwhile gold, silver and copper-coloured metal finishes are also increasingly desirable.
Martin Smolla, Gerresheimer's Sales Manager for the Russian market, said: "People are always motivated to buy an elegant fragrance or cosmetic cream by the desire to treat themselves or somebody else to something special."
Gerresheimer is currently investing in new ultra-modern multicolor printing machines to supplement the existing machine park at its production plants in Tettau in Germany and Momignies in Belgium. The flint glass furnace in Momignies is also currently being replaced with a more modern, high-performance model.
